Shape Oblong is a
personal documentary exploring my struggles with mental illness. I created this
work for my masters thesis and it kicked off my interest in fear. Fear and
anxiety has had a huge impact on my life. I’m well aware of how it manipulates
and bends reality. I suspect our country is currently going through a time
of fear and anxiety, and I aim to find out what it means for the future of
the U.S. The following chapters are a meditation on fear, the lack of, and
everything in between.
